Network Servers
Throughout the department, we have numerous network servers which allow users to run software, use various compilers, write code, etc.
The following list describes the servers available to you:
ark.cs.curtin.edu.au
- Currently running Fedora Core 4
- various compilers (cc, gcc, g++, egcs, java, etc.)
- document reading & processing tools (ghostview, latex, ps2pdf)
- text based browser (lynx, links)
- command line utilities (sed, awk, grep, echo, cat, etc.)
- Access: All CS staff and students
- Availability: All day, everyday
moses.cs.curtin.edu.au
- Currently running Fedora Core 4

These servers are only available via ssh or sftp on port 22.
If you do not already have a ssh client you can use Putty.
